Tell Congress: Take action for Palestinians seeking safety!
After more than a year of Israeli military attacks on Gaza, 1.9 million Palestinians have been displaced – more than 90% of Gaza’s population – and at least 50,000* people have been killed. Many people in Gaza have been displaced multiple times – some as many as 10 times – and the numbers of Palestinians displaced by settler attacks in the West Bank have also increased.
This ongoing displacement crisis has been exacerbated by the United States’ revocation of funding to UNRWA – the refugee agency serving Palestinians – since January 2024, and devastating cuts to global humanitarian aid since January 2025.
Everyone deserves a safe place to live and a safe way to get there. Historically and presently, Palestinian refugees have not been afforded the same rights as other forcibly displaced people, and that must change. These continued attacks on fundamental liberties and human rights must end.
Call on your members of Congress to:
Support the UNRWA Funding Emergency Restoration Act to immediately restore funding to UNRWA and ensure humanitarian aid efforts in the region can resume unobstructed.
Call on the President to ensure that a renewed and lasting ceasefire is reached.
Hold the U.S. and Israeli governments accountable to international law by voting “yes” on Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to block multi-billion dollar weapons packages to Israel that have been used to commit human rights violations.
Urge the Trump administration to stop violating the free speech and due process rights of advocates for Palestinian human rights, including using advocates’ immigration status as a pretext in seeking to detain and deport people.
*The actual death toll is likely to be 41 percent higher than official reporting currently estimates.
