Hi, my name is [your name], and I'm a constituent from [your area]. I hope you're doing well today.

I'm calling to urge [your elected representative] to sign a letter from state and local elected officials from across the United States calling on the Trump administration to immediately restart the U.S. refugee resettlement program.

Local voices are crucial to pushing back and restoring this lifesaving program that enriches our local community and economy. I hope we can show that [your area] supports the resumption of the refugee resettlement program.

The deadline to sign is March 13, and the letter can be reviewed and signed at https://defendrefuge.org.
