Tell Your Elected Officials: We Value Welcoming

The Trump administration and elected leaders in Washington are actively working to tear families apart, decimate our refugee program, end policies that allow people seeking safety to find refuge in the United States, and punish communities that support inclusion, safety and belonging for all Americans, new and longtime alike.

Our neighbors should be valued, not demonized. Attacking refugees and immigrants doesn’t solve problems, instead, it undermines community by reinforcing divisions. The truth is, newcomers — just like countless immigrants and refugees before them — are vital to our communities. They’re the entrepreneurs, teachers, nurses, artists, and fellow worshippers who make our neighborhoods vibrant and diverse. 

Our representatives at all levels need to hear from us! Let’s let them know we believe in welcoming, we reject fear, and we want solutions that support us all.
